    The return of the haikus

    Frustration abounds
    The finals are upon me
    I want to get out
It's no measure of health to be well adapted to a profoundly sick society
Too much angst sucks, seriousness is overrated, melodrama is comedy.

    This year has been stressful
    Yet very rewarding
Now I hope for it to end.

    I make many a thing,
    lunches n' brunches zany,
for people ready to fly away.

    I stand next to belts,
which convey a roll fresh anew,
    slapping cheese afew.

    Sometimes it gets dull,
so I go and eat a bull,
    Cafeteria lady's nice.

    Pay's good, I'm not rude,
I'm one lucky dude for this - why?
    It's my first job! True!

    I think the problem
is that no one sounds them out
    Before they post them.

    But it does sound odd,
    Repeating two lines of words
    To yourself out loud

    I suggest moving
    Your fingers to the rhythm
    Instead of your lips

    Either way, they should

And also, generally each of line of the Haiku is either an independant or dependant clause, VE. Dividing up two sentences into syllabic lines isn't really poetry :P

    Maybe so, but real
Haiku is quite hard to do
    Unless you divide

    (For me anyway)

    Nonsense it is
To say those things about yourself.
    Val, don't do it, please.

    I worry too much
    About those I care for,
    No way around it.

    Strange impulse it is,
I lose all the will to fight,
    I cannot hurt them.

    I can't write haiku
    without it falling apart
    one line into it
Authors I recommend: David Eddings, Tamora Pierce, Bruce Coville, Piers Anthony, Robert Asprin, Diana Wynne Jones, Gordon Korman

    There is no turning back.
    I cannot control my heart.
    I care much for you.

    I cannot explain
When or how this came to pass.
    This is strange indeed.

    But I can't avoid
    Constantly feeling like this.
    What happened to me?

    All the pain is gone,
    Now, only serene sweetness remains.
    I can't feel hatred.
